Deadly vehicle accident claims life of young basketball player
BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, OCTOBER 2ND 2017 – A young basketball player lost his life in a deadly multiple vehicular accident Sunday night.
Seccada Garroden Aka Shuggy died on the spot in the accident that occurred in the vicinity of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine nearly four miles west of Basseterre.
It is not known at this time how many persons were involved and injured but we pary for the safety of all involved

DEEPLY SADDENED !!!! My Basketball Fraternity is in deep mourning . Tonight one of our Premier Teams the SP Kings was involved in an accident that has so far resulted in the death of one player. Promising and gifted national youth player Secada Garroden died in a horrific accident earlier this evening whilst traveling with teammates on the team bus heading home from a game at basketball city . Words cannot describe the hurt we are all feeling within our basketball family at this moment . On behalf of the SKNABA Executive and on my own behalf I extend my most heartfelt condolences to the family of Secado and the SP Pride Kings and the entire Sandy Point Community on this tragic loss.
