Motor biker dies following collision with building

Gingerland, Nevis, March 8, 2018 – A young bike rider is dead following a collision with a building Tuesday.
Police said Wednesday, the tragic Chicken Stone, Gingerland incident that claimed the life of Shaquille Dasent, occurred about 11 p.m. involving a motorbike.


“Upon arrival they discovered that it involved Motor Scooter RA356 of which 22-year-old Shaquille Dasent of Rawlins Village was the rider. Investigations have revealed that he collided with a building in the area and was thrown from the scooter. He was transported to the Alexandria Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries,” the police statement said.
“R.I.P. my bro. Gone, but not forgotten. Big sis gone always love. Gone to soon,” his sister Kennicia posted on her FaceBook page.
Police said the scooter was owned by OJ’s Rentals.
