St. KITTS-Nevis Labour Party To Honour Eight Women For International Women’s Day 2018

The St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) joins the international community in observing this year’s, 2018 International Women’s Day, today, March 8th, which is being celebrated under the theme #PressForProgress.

To commemorate this day, the Party will be hosting an award ceremony and reception to honour one woman from each of the eight constituencies around St. Kitts for their contributions to society.

The event is set to take place later this evening at Galaxy on Port Zante.

In an official release, the SKNLP highlighted their commitment to the safety and advancement of women in St. Kitts and Nevis, as well as the importance of them being recognized and praised.

The Party has and will continue to invest greatly in the women of the Federation, as it is essential for the country’s progress and advancement.
