Labour Party Honors Three New Stalwarts In Wreath Laying Tradition

In keeping with their mandate of change, the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party added three new Labour pioneers to their list of stalwarts who are honoured every year during the Labour Day weekend.

This year’s additions were former Governors-General of St. Kitts and Nevis Sir Cuthbert Montraville Sebastian and Sir Probyn Ellsworth Inniss, and former Unionist, Mr. Owen Caines.

Leaders of the Labour Party and the St. Kitts-Nevis Trades and Labour Union, surrounded by friends and family of the fallen soldiers, made their rounds to the grave sites of the honourees on Sunday 6th May to offer kind words of appreciation and to lay wreaths.

The other stalwarts honoured are first Premier and national hero, Sir Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw, former Premier and national hero Sir Caleb Azariah Paul Southwell, national hero Sir Joseph Nathaniel France; their Excellencies Sir Lee Llewellyn Moore; E. St. John Payne; and comrades Charles E. Mills; Fitzroy Bryant and Fidel O’Flaherty.
