STEVE WRENSFORD – A MAN OF SERVICE PREPARING TO LEAD

Mr. Steve Wrensford, former Deputy Director of Social Security, was recently honoured for his truly outstanding service to our nation. Steve who served the institution for twenty years received an award for his indelible contribution to our nation’s development on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of its establishment. The Social Security Scheme was established in 1978 by the government of the Rt. Excellent Sir Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw.

Mr. Wrensford’s gave St. Kitts and Nevis twenty years of superlative stewardship to the Social Security Scheme. Because of his dedication to the service of our people, all of our pensioners and workers are much better off. He helped make Social Security stronger, safer and better for all of us.

Mr. Wrensford was congratulated by the Rt Hon Dr Denzil L Douglas, former Prime Minister and former Minister of Social Security at a 40th Anniversary Gala Dinner held at the St Kitts Marriott Hotel.

His Excellency Mr. Wrensford also served as a distinguished ambassador representing the beautiful Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis at the diplomatic level.

Mr. Wrensford has received high commendation for his national and community service from residents of his constituency which includes Challengers, Old Road, Green Tree Housing, Verchilds, Middle Island, Lamberts, Conyers, Godwin Ghaut, Halfway Tree and New Guinea.

Mr. Steve Wrensford intends to take his service to an even higher level and looks forward to helping to put our Social Security Scheme on a stronger footing after recent events which have undermined it.
