The series of Constituency Walk-through and Greetings, which commences today (Tuesday, November 13) in Phillip’s Village at 5pm, forms part of the calendar of events organized to commemorate Dr. Harris’ 25th anniversary as a Parliamentarian.
On the walk-throughs, Prime Minister Harris and his delegation will gather at the Bath in Phillip’s Village and make their way throughout each community, stopping to engage one-on-one with constituents along the way.
The second Constituency Walk-through and Greetings event takes place tomorrow, Wednesday (November 14) in the Molineux area.
Speaking during Sunday’s service at the House of Deliverance New Testament Church of God in Tabernacle, Prime Minister Harris said it was important for him to use this time of celebration to reach out in a personal way to the people.
“In the end, politics is about doing the people’s business so we will reach out to them, we will go to listen, to hear and to see where we can help,” said Dr. Harris.
A total of four walk-through events will be held in the week of November 15-24, starting in Christ Church on Monday (November 19). The Prime Minister and his team will then go to Lodge Village on Tuesday (November 20), Lodge Project on Wednesday (November 21) and Ottley’s Village on Thursday (November 22).
Then, on Monday (November 26) there will be a Constituency Walk-through and Greetings in Mansion Village.
The final such event will be held in Tabernacle, the hometown of Prime Minister Harris. This takes place on Tuesday (November 27).
