The activity is one of the events organized by the Department of Youth Empowerment for Youth Month 2018.
Acting Director, Pierre Liburd noted that 150 young people from all walks of life have been invited to participate in the three-hour session. They will represent youth groups, civic organizations, debating groups, faith-based institutions, the Youth Volunteer Corps, the 25 Most Remarkable Teens programme and other agencies. Some of the invitees are entrepreneurs who are expected to share their experiences and expertise as young businesspeople.
“We are eager to hear the perspective of our youth, their thoughts about our programming, and how we can better serve them,” said Mr. Liburd.
He says the 2017 forum was very informative and, he encourages the invitees to come prepared with candid comments, suggestions and questions. The questions will be answered by Deputy Prime Minister Richards, supported by Acting Director Liburd.
