Message from the Hon. Shawn Richards, Minister of Education, Et al.
Good Day All,
My attention has been drawn to a very malicious message circulating via social media supposedly written by myself, Hon. Shawn K. Richards, Minister of Education, Youth, Sport and Culture.
The message falsely claims that schools will not reopen as scheduled for tomorrow, January 7th, 2019. This is a complete falsehood, it is a lie. All public schools will reopen tomorrow January 7th at the usual times.
All teachers, parents, guardians, students and other staff are therefore expected to guide themselves accordingly.
An official press release will be issued by the SKNIS and the Education Media Unit.
