The Cabinet researched this in conjunction with the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs and concluded that there is no legal requirement to prevent persons from obtaining citizenship by marriage except for any unwritten policy which seems to be at variance with the law. As of the 13thย May 2019, the Cabinet has approved that the Ministry of National Security will process application for citizenship by marriage on requests subject to the relevant legal documentation being provided.

El Gabinete investigo esta cuestiรณn junto con el Ministerio de Justicia y Asuntos Jurรญdicos y llegรณ a la conclusiรณn de que no existe ningรบn requisito jurรญdico a impedir que una persona obtenga la ciudadanรญa mediante matrimonio, salvo en el caso de una polรญtica escrita que parezca estar en contradicciรณn con la ley. A partir del 13 de mayo de 2019, el gabinete ha aprobado que el Ministerio de seguridad nacional tramitara la solicitud de cuidadania de matrimonio previa solicitud, con sujeciรณn a la documentaciรณn jurรญdica pertinente que se presente.
