Important Notice to all Farmers
In light of the Covid-19 Corona Virus, the Department of Agriculture will be hosting a 2 days emergency meeting with farmers. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss The National Food Production for St. Kitts. Saturday March 28th @ 2.00 pm for all Livestock Farmers including poultry and rabbits farmers.
Sunday March 29th @ 2:00 pm for Crop Farmers and Land Preparation Operators/ tractor operators who deals with land preparation. The meetings will be held at the Department grounds to allow social distancing, all farmers are asked to make a special effort to attend as we discuss and put together a National plan to feed our people in time of this crisis. Please disseminate this important information to the farming community via your media houses.
