SKELEC beaten 4-3 after a late goal thriller. Team SKELEC scored the two first goals of the match within the first 10′ of the first half. Water came back and was able to tie the game going into half time. The second half saw both teams battle for ball possession and some close calls and attacking style of play.
Water Department took the lead midway through the second half, after a quick restart after a dead ball incident. Later in the half, a rough tackle in the box meant that SKELEC was offered a penalty kick which was scored and tied up the game. Late in the game Water Department was able to capitalise on a breakaway and claim the lead. The guys tried to pull one back in the dying seconds of the match but was unable to do so and lost 4-3We thank all those who came out to support both teams. We also look forward to the rematch and also facing other challengers
