At about 20:40 hours on the 04/11/2020 the Basseterre Fire Unit responded to a report of a vehicle fire at Camps. On arrival to the scene the Unit met a car fully engulfed in flames.
The Unit went into action using water from the appliance to extinguish the fire. The said vehicle is a blue Toyota Vitz -registration PB- 4011- and owned by Mr. Jermaime Huggins and insured by Nagico Insurance. Mr. Huggins explained that he was driving Westbound on the island main road when he started smelling smoke. He the pulled over and got out of the car and thereafter it burst into flames. No personal injuries were sustained. The cause of the fire is unknown.
