The Department of Agriculture presented 22 Boer goats to several farmers during a goat handing over ceremony at the Department of Agriculture Grounds on Friday, September 3, 2021.


Acting Director of Agriculture, Dr. Tracey Challenger explained that the programme is intended to breed goats with more meat and this will both benefit the farmers and reduce the country’s import bill for goat meat.
