PRIME MINISTER HARRIS CONGRATULATES EMANI SAMUEL, INDEPENDENCE 38 THEME WINNER
Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 16, 2021 (SKNIS): In concluding his Commemorative Message in honour of the Federation’s National Heroes on September 16, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. The Honourable Timothy Harris, paused to congratulate and recognize the contribution of a student who penned this years’ winning theme for the 38 Anniversary of Independence.
“I want to acknowledge the contribution of a young student from the Verchild’s High School who created or authored this year’s Independence theme. Could you give a big hand of applause to Emani Samuel, a third-former of the Verchild’s High School,” said Dr. Harris.
The winning theme “Adapt, Diversify, Recreate: Independence 38” was selected by the Federal Cabinet from one hundred and fifty (150) submissions. This makes two consecutive years that a high school student has won the competition.
Prime Minister Harris wished all a Happy National Heroes day and offered prayers for one and all, as well as for the Federation.
“May God bless you, and may He in His infinite wisdom, continue to bless the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis… this our land of beauty; a country where peace abounds. May our children always stand safe and free. God bless you all. God bless the nation of St. Kitts and Nevis,” he said.
The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis will be celebrating its 38th Independence Anniversary on September 19, 2021.
