Watch Minister Grant on “Inside South Florida”

BASSETERRE (8th October, 2021): The Honourable Lindsay F.P. Grant, Minister of Tourism, Transport and Ports appeared this past Wednesday and Thursday on WSFL TV’s Inside South Florida.Click here to view.

Appearing in the first of three broadcast segments created to bring the St. Kitts & Nevis message to the affluent areas of Florida’s “Gold Coast,” including Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties, this segment, focused on history. Minister Grant informed viewers of the close ties to the United States through founding father Alexander Hamilton, born in Nevis, and Sam Jefferson II, the great, great, great, grandfather of Thomas Jefferson, the third president and owner of the first land grant in the Western Caribbean – 1000 acres in St. Kitts St. Kitts.

Highlighting the “warmth, energy and welcoming spirit” of the Kittitian people and noting that “St. Kitts is magical; an absolute gem,” he invited host Jason Carter and the viewers to visit the island as a perfect place to relax, recharge and rejuvenate.   

Future segments will be broadcast every Wednesday and Thursday in October as part of the strategy to increase overall brand awareness, generate sales within our target demographic and reach the affluent South Florida drive markets to Miami in support of the AA Miami flight which commences daily service Nov. 2, 2021.
