Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 05, 2021 (Ministry of Foreign Affairs): Students of educational institutions in Saint Kitts and Nevis are being encouraged for the first time, to participate in a competition to arrest some of the world’s environmental challenges.

The global initiative dubbed “The Earth Prize” is being spearheaded by The Earth Foundation headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and is opened to students of learning institutions around the world ages 13-19, to come up with practical, scalable, and ideally, commercially viable innovations to solve environmental problems.

If won, the first prize of $100,000 will be shared between the institution and the students on its team. There are also two $ 50,000 second prizes.
To date, over 200 students from 65 countries have been enrolled, and students in Saint Kitts and Nevis are encouraged to participate in this worthwhile global challenge.
