POLICE INVESTIGATING NON-FATAL SHOOTING INCIDENT IN PROSPECT
Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 22, 2022 (RSCNPF): The Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting incident that occurred on March 21, 2022, in which Devon Parris of Stoney Grove was injured.
Investigations so far have revealed that Parris was driving his motor jeep when unknown assailants began shooting at him in the vicinity of Prospect Gap. He received an abrasion and a gunshot wound to the side of his chest. He was transported to the Alexandra Hospital where he is warded in a stable condition. A seven-month-old baby, who was also in the vehicle at the time of the incident, was unharmed.
Personnel from the Forensic Department processed the scene and collected items of evidential value.
