POST-CABINET BRIEFING FOR MONDAY, JULY 25, 2022
Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 26, 2022 (SKNIS): The Cabinet of Ministers met on Monday, July 25, 2022, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris. During their meeting, Cabinet deliberated on several matters of national importance to the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.
- The Cabinet approved fiscal incentives for long-standing businesses within the Federation.
- The Cabinet approved for regional and local observers to witness the upcoming general elections on August 5, 2022.
- The Cabinet endorsed an invitation from the St. Kitts Christian Council, the St. Kitts Evangelical Association and the St. Kitts Seventh-day Adventists to attend a National Prayer Service at the Pentecostal Church of God, Boone Avenue, Basseterre on Thursday 28th July, 2022 at 4:30 pm. The invitation was sent to all political parties. The intention of the prayer service is to seek God’s guidance and intervention over the electoral process in the Federation.
