Prime Minister and Minister of Health, Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew was given a tour of the Pogson Medical Center today (October 14) at which point he was updated on a number of positive changes made to the operations at the medical facility.
As part of the Ministry of Health’s initiative to improve medical care and access to the population, the Pogson Medical Center now has 24/7 medical doctor coverage, which would significantly reduce the strain on the emergency room at the JNF Hospital and improve the overall delivery of healthcare services in Sandy Point and surrounding communities.
