ALVIN ROMNEY AKA ‘BIGGIE’, 36 WAS TODAY SHOT AND KILLED in Dieppie Bay, St Kitts and Nevis.
Details of Romney’s killing are still sketchy but www.sknewssource.com learnt that several shots rang out in the area, and when it ceased, ‘Biggie’ was found lying motionless across the public road.
Several spent shells were seen in the vicinity of the man’s body.
At the time of his death, Romney, a father of one, and a twin, was on his way home where he was residing in Parson Ground, according to unconfirmed information reaching this media house.
Efforts to solicit details on the homicide proved futile at the time of writing, as the police were at the scene conducting investigations into the killing.
This is the first killing under the three-month-old Dr Terrance Drew administration since coming to office on August 5th, 2022.
While on the campaign hustings, candidate Drew promised during he will be taking a tough and relentless stance on crime. He had also promised in campaign speeches that residents and visitors will remain safe under his government.
Co-incidentally, PM Drew is also the National Security Minister.
