Ms.Tijuanique Morton placed first in her heat and second overall in a time of 24.52s in the 200m

A Special congratulations is going out to Ms.Tijuanique Morton a National of St. Kitts who is a student at the New Mexico Junior College. Ms. Morton is no stranger to the federation as she has been doing tremendously well since she entered college back in 2021. Ms. Morton ran her first indoor race last weekend at Texas Tech University Corky Classics held from the 13th to 16th January 2023 where she placed first in her heat and second overall in a time of 24.52s in the 200m.

This time has secured Ms. Mortons spot on the CARIFTA team who would be travelling to Bahamas in April 2023. Ms. Morton is the first Athlete out of St. Kitts and Nevis to have qualified for the upcoming CARIFTA GAMES this year so far.

Join us in congratulating Ms. Morton and keep on encouringing her to do her best both academically and on the track. We here in the federation are super proud of her.
