Statement on Outage in Newton Ground
SKELEC wishes to advise that early this morning at about 2am customers in Tabernacle, Saddlers, Parson Ground, Dieppe Bay, St. Paul’s lost power due to a bush fire in Newton Ground, where 7 poles were burnt and one three phase transformer were damaged. Crews have been working around the clock to make necessary repairs and restoration is complete. SKELEC thanks the public for their understanding during this time and wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
