CDU CONTINUES TO TRANSFORM THE TEACHING – LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Basseterre: St. Kitts, Tuesday, May 14, 2024: On Tuesday May 10, secondary schools across St. Kitts were presented with projectors from the Curriculum Development Unit (CDU).
During the handing over of the projectors to principals, Mrs. Amanda Edmead CDU’s Director remarked,
“The curriculum is riddled with resources that requires the use of technology. In 2022 we [CDU] provided projectors to our primary schools. This morning, we are here to provide projectors to our secondary schools with some schools receiving as much as 10 projectors and as little as 3 which is determined by the size of the school”.
The presentation of the projectors to schools reinforces the Ministry’s quest to provide digital solutions to augment the educational landscape in the schools which is prominent in the guiding theme “Transforming Education Through Self Renewal, Holistic Partnerships and Digital Solutions.”
