NO LOAD REDUCTION OUTAGES EXPECTED FOR WEDNESDAY 22nd MAY 2024
The St. Kitts Electricity Company (SKELEC) Ltd wishes to advise that no load reduction outages are expected on Wednesday 22nd May 2024 as generation capacity continues to increase. The SKELEC extends gratitude to our generation teams who have been working tirelessly to improve capacity.
While we work to further increase capacity, if a load reduction outage becomes necessary SKELEC is asking members of the public to pay attention to our social media pages, website, and media outlets where a tentative load reduction schedule for the next day will be released nightly.
Please note that the electricity supply may be interrupted later and restored earlier than the scheduled times. SKELEC takes every precaution to protect customer appliances from damage during outages; we however, encourage our customers to safeguard their equipment and appliances at all times.
