Hon Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew had a discussion with a medical doctor colleague of his from Carriacou, Grenada who has informed him that the hospital in Carriacou, Grenada is severely damaged.
This scenario reinforces the need for a climate smart hospital, meaning a hospital that can withstand these types of hurricanes. We have been working on it feverishly. I want to thank Ambassador Leon Natta-Nelson for his dedicated effort to making this a reality.
I chose the Ambasador for his hard working spirit and no nonsense attitude when it comes to delivering for the people. This project is of critical importance to our people. Thank you Mr. Ambassador!
