POLICE INVESTIGATING ROBBERY IN LODGE VILLAGE
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, August 1, 2024. On July 31, 2024, at about 2:45 pm, the Police responded to a robbery at the ‘7 Days’ Chinese Supermarket, in Lodge Village.
Inquiries revealed that two armed and masked gunmen entered the supermarket and demanded money from the cashier, a Chinese national. During the robbery, one of the assailants struck the cashier on the head with his firearm. The robbers then proceeded to steal liquor, pastries, tobacco, and an undisclosed sum of cash.
The scene was processed by the Crime Scene Unit as the investigation continues.
