JOSELO PIE & JONATHAN RAWLINS SENTENCED FOR ROBBERY
Joselo Nunez Pie of Infirmary Road, St. Johnston’s Village; and Jonathan Rawlins of
Herbert Street, Newtown, both on St. Kitts, have been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison
for the offence of Robbery.
The criminal act was committed on November 11th, 2023, at Fort Tyson Rise, Frigate Bay, St. Kitts. Having both plead guilty to the offence on March 3rd, 2025, they were sentenced on April 15th, 2025, at the High Court by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley, KC.
Mr Pie was sentenced to six (6) years imprisonment with time spent on remand counted as time served. He will be eligible for remission having served two-thirds of his sentence with good behaviour.
Mr Rawlins received a sentence of six (6) years and six (6) months. When the offence was committed, he had been serving a suspended sentence of eighteen (18) months. As the commission of the crime nullified the suspension, the eighteen (18) months were added to his new sentence, thereby increasing it to eight (8) years imprisonment. Time spent on remand will be counted as time served, and he will be eligible for remission having served two-thirds of his sentence with good behaviour.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force extends sincere gratitude to those who
aided in any way the pursuit of justice in this matter.
