ST. KITTS & NEVIS-NIGERIA BILATERAL EXCHANGE RETURNS JUNE 12–17, 2025
New Dates Announced for Historic Engagement Between St. Kitts and Nevis & Nigeria
Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 10th, 2025-The Ministries of Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Resources; Sports; Small Business, Entrepreneurship, Cooperatives and the Creative Economy are pleased to announce the new dates for the rescheduled AFRI-Caribbean Exchange: June 12–17, 2025.
The Exchange, hosted under the theme “Two Nations, One Rhythm: Bridging Cultures, Building Futures,” celebrates an unprecedented partnership between the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis and the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This visionary initiative is rooted in the signing of two groundbreaking Memoranda of Understanding earlier this year in the areas of Agriculture and the Creative Economy.
Following an unavoidable delay due to travel disruptions, the Exchange is now back on track, offering an even more vibrant experience for the public. The week-long calendar of activities is designed to promote cross-cultural collaboration, business innovation, and international cooperation between Africa and the Caribbean.

• Opening Ceremony & Business Expo| Carambola – Sunset Deck| Friday, June 13 | 9:00 AM
A dynamic launch event featuring cultural showcases and a business exhibition spotlighting African-Caribbean innovation.
• International Football Friendly Match| Samuel Williams Sporting Complex – Verchilds| Friday, June 13 | 7:30 PM
The highly anticipated showdown between St. Kitts & Nevis and Nigeria. Admission is free.
• Agri and MSME Technical Business Workshop| Minister’s Conference Room – Port Zante| Saturday, June 14 | 9:30 AM–4:00 PM
Sessions focused on agricultural innovation, value chain development, creative entrepreneurship and investment.
• Cultural Workshop: Nigerian Drumming & Dance| Victoria Road Community Centre| Saturday, June 14 – Monday, June 16
A hands-on community experience immersing participants in the vibrant rhythm and movement of traditional Nigerian culture.
