Today is National Volunteer Day.
Prime Mininister Dr Hon Timothy Harris got the day started very early this morning when he alonv with a group on Mansion repainted the house of a well known resident Bappy Dolphin. The PM will be lending his hand to a number of projects within his constituency as well as actively participaying in serving and delivering hot lunches to the indingent and elderly at Government House today from 11am to 2pm and also tbrought the country.
Hon Lindsay Grant got his National Volunteer Day started early at 6am by leading a clean up campaign in Old Road . Hon Grant will join cabinet collegues at Government House for the National Volunteer Day Elderly Luncheon where the entire Team Unity Cabinet wi be actively participating in the activitiy by assisting with the preparation and serving of the hot lunches to our Senior Citizens as well as delivering lunches to our shut ins around the entire country.
Redeemed Promotions began their National Volunteer Day at 6:30am in Frigate Bay where the group took part in a Beach Clean-up.

A Few Members of our recently Launched National Youth Volunteet Members of The Keys Improvement Society led by Roy Griffin and supported by the Hon Eugene Hamilton and the NHC today painted the home of an amputee in the area known as 4 miles in Keys. The group pursued the activity as part of the National Volunteer Day . are already at the Government House in preparation for the National Volunteer Day Elderly Luncheon. They will be providing assistance to the Cabinet Ministers who will be preparing and serving the hot lunches for our Elderly and Indigent.

In addition to a number of other activities Hon Ian Patches Liburd took the opportunity on National Volunteer Day to deliver lunches to and spend quality time with a number of his constituents. Hon Liburd hand delivered over 40 lunches throughout his constituency
St.Kitts Flower Arrangers Association did their part on National Volunteer Day by using flowera to spread joy, cheer and love to residents at the Grange Senior Care Facility. It was an overwheling experience to see the smiles on the faces of the residents as well as the members of the association.
Ambassador Jonel Powell also did his part on National Voluntder Day. He delivered lunches to scores of persons in McKnight Dorset,Greenland, Market St. , Westbourne and College St Ghuats and New rd. Long tiring day but well worth it says Ambassador Powell
