ILLEGAL GUN AND AMMO RECOVERED ON NEVIS
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) has seized an illegal firearm and ammunition following a routine patrol in the Newcastle area of Nevis.
During the operation, officers discovered one (1) Taurus Millennium G2 9mm pistol loaded with ten (10) rounds of matching ammunition. The items were found concealed on a land lot with an active construction site. At this time, no individuals have been apprehended in connection with the discovery.
The RSCNPF’s Crime Scene Unit processed the area and collected items of evidential value for further forensic analysis. The firearm and ammunition have since been secured in police custody. An investigation into the find is ongoing. The RSCNPF encourages anyone with information that may assist this or any other investigation to contact the nearest police station.
