COVID-19 TASKFORCE MEMBERS ARE THE SPECIAL GUESTS ON THE FIRST EDITION OF LEADERSHIP MATTERS FOR 2021
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, February 01, 2021 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – The hugely popular Leadership Matters virtual forum series returns this Tuesday, February 02, at 8:00pm, when Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris will be joined by members of the National COVID-19 Taskforce.
Appearingalongside the honourable prime minister will be the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Hazel Laws; Medical Chief of Staff of the JNF General Hospital, Dr. Cameron Wilkinson and Chairman of the National COVID-19 Taskforce, Mr. Abdias Samuel.
Tuesday’sprogramme – the first for the year 2021 – will give citizens and residents the opportunity to get up to date information pertaining to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic as well as to remind everyone of the various health and safety protocols that have been put in place to keep the nation safe from the deadly disease.
St. Kitts and Nevis has been ranked best in the Caribbean at managing the pandemic with the least number of infections and zero deaths. Just recently, a data-tracking site listed the twin island Federation among the few countries in the world that are “winning” against COVID-19.
