Hurricane Irma

While there are currently no storm watches or warnings in effect for St. Kitts, please be aware of the potential for severe weather in association with Hurricane Irma as it passes through the Caribbean region over the next 5 days. Irma is projected to be a CAT 4 storm by early next week, with potential sustained winds greater than 130 mph.

As the weather system passes and pending the intensity of the weather, it may bring high winds and heavy rainfall, which may lead to areas of flooding.

It is still some distance away, but BuckieGot It will continue to monitor the progress of the storm over the next few days. Should the National Weather Service or the St. Kitts Meteorological Office issue a watch or warning for St. Kitts.
We encourage you to begin your preparations early. Also please stay alert to local and regional weather forecasts via the internet, television or radio. View the latest information from the National Weather Service
