Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 04, 2024 (Ministry of Sustainable Development): The conclusion of the United Nations Environment Assembly’s sixth session (UNEA-6) marks a significant milestone in global environmental governance. Held from February 26 to March 1, 2024, in Nairobi, Kenya, the session focused on “Effective, inclusive, and sustainable multilateral actions to tackle climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution.” It culminated in the adoption of 15 resolutions, two decisions, and a Ministerial Declaration aimed at confronting the triple planetary crisis head-on.
