The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis has published new Emergency Powers (COVID-19) Regulations, which came into operation today, Saturday, August 1st at 5:00am and shall expire at 4:59am on Saturday, August 8th, 2020.

As the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis observes the 50th anniversary of the MV Christena disaster that claimed the lives of more than 200 persons, Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris says it may be time to begin regulating access to the wreckage site by divers, given its history and significance to our heritage.
