KAJARY HENRY SENTENCED FOR WOUNDING WITH INTENT TO MURDER
Kajary ‘Rebel’ Henry of Hermitage Village, Cayon, St. Kitts, has been sentenced to prison
for the offence of Wounding with Intent to Murder, committed on May 14th, 2024. Mr Henry pleaded guilty to the offence on May 22nd, 2026, and was sentenced on July 24th, 2026, to serve thirteen (13) years in His Majesty’s Prison.

Jahkeem Morton of Cardin Avenue, St. Johnson Village, Basseterre, St. Kitts, has been
charged with the offence of Simple Wounding, committed on May 26th, 2026. He was charged on July 17th, 2026, at the Basseterre Police Station.

Police Officers receive training on Digital Framework for Diversionary Caution System
Basseterre, 17 July 2026
The Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs is today conducting specialised training for approximately 60 police officers on the digital framework and database that will support the proposed Diversionary Caution System.
The training is being held at the Information and Communications Technology Centre and forms part of the wider institutional preparation required for the effective implementation of the new framework.
