HONOUR GUARDS FROM TAIWAN TO PARTICIPATE IN ST. KITTS AND NEVIS’ 35THINDEPENDENCE CEREMONIAL PARADE
Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 12, 2018 (SKNIS): The Republic of China (Taiwan) is solidifying 35 years of strong bonds of friendship with St. Kitts and Nevis by sending a 28-member contingent of Honour Guards from Taiwan Arm Forces to mark the anniversary of Independence of the twin- island Federation and the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

ST. KITTS AND NEVIS CONGRATULATED AS THE NEWEST MEMBER ON THE ACCESSION TO THE NAGOYA PROTOCOL
Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 12, 2018 (SKNIS): Congratulatory messages were sent to the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis on its recent accession to the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Benefit Sharing (ABS).

Dr. Cristiana Paşca Palmer, United Nations Assistant Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, noted how pleased she was with St. Kitts and Nevis for making the bold move.
