BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, September 7, 2018 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – With an unprecedented increase in budgetary support and the implementation of community-based social intervention programmes, Premier of Nevis and Member for Nevis 9, the Honourable Mark Brantley said the Team Unity administration’s record of support to law enforcement speaks for itself, and noted that “no government in the history of this country has taken the issue of crime and security more seriously than this government.”

Florence Now a Storm With Hurricane Potential; Another Storm Could Form Later Today

FLORIDA, United States, Friday September 7, 2018 – Hours after being upgraded to a Category 4 hurricane, Florence was back down to tropical storm status, but forecasters say it will likely get stronger over the weekend as it gets closer to Bermuda.

Florence intensified yesterday evening, but by 11 a.m. today, it was a tropical storm with maximum sustained winds down to 65 miles per hour.
