Federation registers murder #22 three hours after PM Harris said crime was trending down

Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 26, 2017 – Less than three hours after St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris made a misleading statement at an award ceremony for police officers, that crime was trending down, the Federation recorded murder number 22 for 2017 on Saturday night.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 26, 2017 – The Team Unity Government of St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris has failed to deal with the present day problems in the twin-island Federation.

A caller to Freedom 106.5 FM popular talk show “Issues,” is questioning the silence of the Minister of Finance on the damming report from the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) on the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank.

Whilst attending a community get together in Cane Garden last night, I received an urgent call that our beloved Charlestown Secondary School was on fire. I rushed to the scene and was pleased that our fire services responded early enough to control the fire before it consumed the entire school. I warmly congratulate our fire services team for their quick action.
