Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 04, 2017 (SKNIS): Larry Monrose, Executive Chef at the Ocean Terrace Inn (OTI), emerged the winner of this year’s St. Kitts and Nevis Restaurant Week Challenge with his yam crusted Mahi Mahi served with yam dumplings topped with a yam butter sauce.

The third St. Kitts and Nevis Restaurant Week comes alive from July 19-30, 2017, and is a time when participating restaurants across the federation will offer special menus with exquisite selected dishes, fixed price dinner menus, and lunch time specials at reduced prices.

In spite of the inclement weather, national teams participating in the 3rd OECS Championships fiercely competed for glory, honour and a chance to qualify for the World Championships in the summer. Host country led from the front on the opening day of the OECS Games as friendly rivalry was keen between nine countries in the OECS region. Gerard Joseph was there on Saturday and sends us this story.
