Prime Minister Harris says young people have a role to play in country’s development

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, September 14, 2018 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — Prime Minister Dr the Hon Timothy Harris has said that the over 13,000 young people attending schools between early childhood and the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) can also contribute to the building of a more successful St. Kitts and Nevis.

Prime Minister Harris made the observation on Wednesday September 12 at the Joshua Obadiah Williams Primary School in Molineux as he addressed students of that school and those from the Violet Petty Primary School in Lodge as part of school visits by Cabinet ministers as part the 35^th Anniversary of Independence Calendar of Events.

GOVERNMENT MINISTERS IMPRESS UPON THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS THE IMPORTANCE OF PATRIOTISM AND NATION BUILDING

Prime Minister Harris congratulates parents as fifth Explorers Club is launched

 

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, September 10, 2018 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — Parents in the Cayon community, and further afield including the Keys community, have come in for praise from Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Dr the Hon Timothy Harris, for standing with the young people.

Prime Minister Harris, who was speaking on Saturday September 8 at the Cayon Primary School during the launch of Cayon Explorers Club, expressed his delight at the large number of parents who had turned out for the ceremony. He said: “I am especially delighted to see so many parents here, and I want the parents to give themselves a round of applause for standing with the young people.”
