THE FEDERATION OF ST. KITTS NEVIS IS REPRESNTED AT THE MISS OECS PAGEANT 2019 IN DOMINICA

Tuesday 29th October, 2019 (St. Kitts & Nevis) 2nd Runner-up in the St. Kitts Nevis National Carnival Swimsuit Pageant, 22 year old Miss Saskia Evans, has been provided the opportunity to represent the Federation at the Miss OECS Pageant 2019 to be held in Dominica.  The Pageant will be held at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium on Friday 1st November, 2019 at 8:00 p.m.  The Ms. OECS Pageant was conceptualized in 1984 but took a hiatus and has now been revitalized after 20 years. Ms. Evans left the Federation on Monday 28th October to vie for the title of Miss. OECS, competing with five (5) ladies from Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada and St. Lucia.

Independence Night of Dance Community Notice 

The Independence Night of Dance Committee presents “Choreographer’s Choice” on Sunday, October 27, 2019, at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium, at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. The event begins at 5 pm.

The recital is part of the 36th Independence Anniversary celebrations and will showcase the Federation’s best in dance from top local companies. Yamuna Chan, a dance teacher from Taiwan ICDF, will make a special appearance.
