In a heartwarming celebration of environmental consciousness, the St. Kitts and Nevis Solid Waste Management Corporation (SWMC) in conjunction with the Taiwanese Technical Mission, hosted an award ceremony on Thursday, November 9, to recognize the outstanding efforts of primary schools in the inaugural “St. Kitts and Nevis Primary School Recycling Competition.” The competition, aimed at promoting sustainable practices among youth, saw enthusiastic participation from 33 primary schools across the twin-island federation.

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, November 7, 2023 (SKNIS) – With about twenty-two (22) laboratory-confirmed cases of dengue fever in the Federation, Prime Minister and Minister of Health, the Honourable Dr. Terrance Drew, is urging citizens and residents to join the Ministry of Health in its quest to mitigate the spread of dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases.

JNF General Hospital Successfully Hosts Pediatrics Cardiological Clinic with World Paediatrics Project and Paediatrics Assistance League of St. Kitts and Nevis
Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis, November 3, 2023, [Ministry of Health] – JNF General Hospital in collaboration with the World Pediatrics Project (WPP) and the Pediatrics Assistance League of St. Kitts and Nevis (PALS) concluded its fifth Paediatrics Cardiological Clinic on November 2, 2023. The clinic, a pivotal event in the federation’s healthcare calendar, was facilitated by two highly respected pediatric cardiologists, Dr. Scott Gullquist and Dr. Christopher Chow, from the Children’s Hospital of Richmond, Virginia.
