Today I had the privilege of delivering brief inspiring remarks to the lead nurses within our Federation at the start of a two-day Nurses Leadership Workshop at the CUNA Conference Center.
I thanked them for their bravery and sacrifice and reminded them of the crucial role they play within the healthcare sector.

I stopped by Sunday 12th March at the JNF General Hospital to check in on the patients, nurses, doctors, and other medical staff. It was a rather productive visit.

Dr. Amalia Del Riego, PAHO/WHO Representative for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean Countries, and Ms. Anneke Wilson, Country Program Specialist, for Saint Kitts and Nevis paid a courtesy call on Tuesday 7th March 2023. Also present at the meeting were Dr. Sharon Archibald, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, and Dr. Hazel Laws, Chief Medical Officer.
