Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 10, 2019 (SKNIS): As work continues to improve the environmental conditions at the Cayon High School, the Ministry of Education says it is going the extra mile to ensure that conditions at the school are conducive for the health of both faculty, staff and students before a date can be arrived at for the school’s re-opening.

FIFTH FORM STUDENTS OF CAYON HIGH SCHOOL ATTENDING REGULAR CLASSES AT CAYON PRIMARY

BASSTERRE, St. Kitts, September 10, 2019 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – The Ministry of Education has put the necessary measures in place to ensure that fifth form students of the Cayon High School are not disadvantaged as they prepare for the May-June 2020 CXC Examinations as the reopening of that school for the 2019/2020 school year is delayed.

Development Bank partners with Nevis Health Promotion Unit in hosting wellness walk  

Charlestown, NevisSeptember 10, 2019 (DBSKN) — Caribbean Wellness Day is observed on the second Saturday in the month of September. Information coming out of Nevis is that the Health Promotion Unit will on Saturday September 14 be celebrating the annual event with a number of activities, among them a wellness walk that has been sponsored by the Development Bank of St. Kitts and Nevis.

“The Appreciation Day is a commendable effort that encourages us to imagine a scenario in which our small island state lacks basic sanitation services,” Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris said on Sunday, speaking at the 17th annual awards ceremony to honour the country’s sanitation workers.
