CMO Makes Presentation on Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease to Educators

Basseterre: St. Kitts, Thursday, October 12, 2022:​ Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr. Hazel Laws was the specially invited guest presenter at a meeting of school principals and Education officials earlier today in an effort to raise awareness about the highly contagious hand, foot and mouth diseasecurrently which is known to be easily spread among children.

Children on the Autism Spectrum and Other Sensory Disorders Access New Assistance Organized by Recovery Centre

Basseterre: St. Kitts, Thursday, October 13, 2022:​ A team of experts engaged by the Discovery Centre has promised to assist national efforts to help parents and children who have developmental challenges; particularly those on the Autism Spectrum as well as those with Down Syndrome.

NOTICE: TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF DAYCARE CENTER

Basseterre: St. Kitts, Wednesday, September 14, 2022:​ Acting on the advice of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, the Industrial Site Day Care Centre will be closed on Thursday, September 15, to Friday, 23 rd September, 2022. This temporary closure will facilitate the deep cleaning and sanitization of all spaces at the Industrial Site Day Care Centre and is also a precautionary measure to curb exposure to the Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease.
