F.T. WILLIAMS H’WAY DOUBLE ROAD FATALITY UNDER POLICE INVESTIGATION

The Police are investigating a traffic accident that occurred on the F. T. Williams Highway on St. Kitts. The incident took place on December 6th , 2024, between 11:30PM and 12AM and resulted in the deaths of Shida Jarvis, age nineteen (19), and Malik Williams of King Street, age eighteen (18), both of St. Kitts.

Two persons were involved in Fatal Traffic Accident FT on Williams Highway

A traffic accident occurring on the FT Williams Highway between 11:30PM and 12AM last evening resulted in the deaths of two (2) persons. The victims are Shida Jarvis and Malik Williams; both, pronounced deceased at the scene. Four (4) other persons sustained serious injuries and are currently warded at the JNF Hospital after having received medical care.

POLICE CHARGE TWO FOR GUN & AMMO POSSESSION

The Police have charged Tristan Richards of New Road, St. Kitts, age twenty-seven (27);
and Brianda Berridge of Gillard’s Meadows, St. Kitts, age twenty-one (21), on two (2)
warrants each for the offenses of Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.

TRAFFIC OPERATION ON NEVIS YIELDS REMARKABLE RESULTS


On November 25th, 2024, officers of Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force(RSCNPF) conducted an immensely successful vehicle check point (VCP) operation at Beach Road, Nevis.

During the operation, approximately two hundred and sixty (260) vehicles were meticulously checked for various traffic offences. Our officers’ vigilant efforts led to the issuance of one hundred and fifteen (115) traffic tickets for offences identified during the checks. In addition, seventy-three (73) dark tints were removed from vehicles, two(2) motor vehicles were impounded, and one (1) individual was arrested for violations.

The RSCNPF remains steadfast in our mission to ensure the safety of our roads and uphold the rule of law. We are eternally grateful to the general public for their cooperation during this and all other traffic operations, in particular. We encourage everyone to adhere to traffic regulations for a safer environment for all.
