Inon Nias of Greenlands, St. Kitts, has been charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. The offence was committed on April 20th, 2024, and the charge was laid on April 22nd
, 2024, at the Basseterre Police Station.

HAMILTON SHOOTING INCIDENT UNDER POLICE INVESTIGATION


The Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Hamilton, Nevis, on April 23rd, 2024, between 5PM and 6PM. The incident left Lavington Forbes of Hamilton nursing a single gunshot wound to an arm. Preliminary investigations have revealed that Mr Forbes was accosted by an armed assailant while standing near his home. He escaped the attack and was transported to the Alexandra Hospital shortly thereafter by a private vehicle.

JAMARI HERBERT CHARGED WITH MURDER


The Police have arrested and charged thirty-two (32)-year-old Jamari Herbert of John Street, Newtown/Upper Monkey Hill, St. Peter’s, St. Kitts, for the Murder of thirty-eight (38)-year-old Elston Estridge of Conaree Village, St. Kitts. The criminal act was committed on April 18th, 2024, between 1:30PM and 2PM.


Mr Herbert was charged on April 23rd, 2024, at the Cayon Police Station.

POLICE INVESTIGATING JOHN STREET HOMICIDE


The Police are investigating the shooting death of thirty-eight (38)-year-old Elston Estridge of Conaree Village, St. Kitts. The incident occurred on April 18th, 2024, at John Street, Newtown, St. Kitts, between 1:30PM and 2PM.
Responding to the scene, Police officers observed Mr Estridge lying on the ground with gunshot wounds about the body. He was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene. Preliminary investigations indicate that Mr Estridge was accosted by an armed assailant who fled the scene afterwards.
