POLICE CHARGE TWO IN CONNECTION WITH NEVIS GAS STATION ROBBERY


Akeem Dos Santos of Church Ground, Nevis, age twenty-five (25); and Nicklus David of Low Street, Nevis, age twenty-one (21), have each been charged for the offence of Robbery, committed on May 6th, 2024, at Dayton Gas Station. Both males were charged on June 14th, 2024, with Mr Dos Santos being charged at the Cotton Ground Police Station, and Mr David being charged at the Newcastle Police Station.

Tevin Wilson, age twenty-seven (27) and a resident of Saddlers Village, St. Kitts, has been charged with the Murder of the late Keshawn Carty, who was also a resident of Saddlers Village. The criminal act was committed on June 11th, 2024, in Saddlers Village. Mr Wilson was charged at the Violent Crime Unit at the Stanford Building in Basseterre, St. Kitts.

POLICE SEARCH YIELDS FIREARM & AMMUNITION IN CHURCH GROUND, NEVIS


On June 13th, 2024, officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police (RSCNPF) conducted a search of two (2) uninhabited lots of land in the area of Church Ground, Nevis.
The search led to the recovery of one (1) .40 Taurus pistol, containing fourteen (14) rounds of matching ammunition. The scene was processed by the Crime Scene Unit (CSU), and the contraband items were taken into custody.

SANDY POINT GROCERY ROBBERY UNDER POLICE INVESTIGATION


The Police are investigating a robbery of a grocery store in Sandy Point, St. Kitts.
The criminal act was committed on June 11th, 2024, between 2:30PM and 3:30PM.
Initial investigations indicate that two (2) armed and masked assailants dressed in dark
clothing, emerged from an alley on the mountain side of the road and entered the store.
The assailants stole a sum of money from the cash register, then promptly fled the scene.
No one was injured during the incident.
