STEDROY JULES SENTENCED FOR CONVEYING CONTRABAND


Stedroy Jules of St. Paul’s, St. Kitts, has been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison for the offence of Conveying Contraband into His Majesty’s Prison, an offence committed on January 3rd, 2025. Mr Jules, who had initially pleaded not guilty, was found guilty and sentenced to four (4)months’ imprisonment on October 30th, 2025. His sentence was handed down at the Basseterre Magistrate’s Court presided over by His Honour Mr Reynold Benjamin on October 30th, 2025.

TIMOTHY POWELL ARRESTED & CHARGED WITH COCAINE POSSESSION

Timothy Powell of Maryland, USA, currently residing at Meade’s Pasture, Nevis, has been charged with the offences of Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Supply. The offences were committed on October 30th, 2025, at Meade’s Pasture during the execution of a search warrant by officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF). Officers discovered a small bag containing a white substance suspected to be cocaine inside a bag belonging to Mr Powell.

CRAIG MILLS & JAHMAL KENTISH SENTENCED FOR ROBBERY


Craig Mills of King Street, Basseterre, and Jahmal Kentish of Stonefort Heights, Challengers, both on St. Kitts, have been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison for the Robbery committed at InstaCash in Basseterre on October 14th, 2023.

Mr Mills, who initially pleaded not guilty, changed his plea to guilty on the charge of
Robbery. He was sentenced to eleven (11) years imprisonment, with time on remand to
be deducted and one-third remission for good behaviour to be applied by His Majesty’s
Prison administration.

His co-defendant, Mr Kentish, who had pleaded guilty in March 2025, was sentenced to
eight and a half (81⁄2) years imprisonment, also with time on remand and one-third
remission to be deducted. Both men were sentenced at the St. Christopher High Court in
Basseterre on October 29th, 2025, by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley KC.
