The Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Saddlers, St. Kitts, on June 11th, 2024. The incident occurred between 12AM and 1AM and resulted in the death of Kishawn Carty, aged thirty-two (32) years.

The Police have laid four (4) charges against a Kittitian male for the offences of Rape, Indecent Assault, and Robbery (two counts). The criminal acts were committed between 12AM and 1AM on June 1st, 2024, in the St. Peter’s area on St. Kitts.

Police has confirm that there was a shooting incident in the Saddlers area last night that resulted in one (1) person being fatally wounded. The victim has been identified as Keshawn Carty of Upper Saddlers Project. More info will be provided in an official release.

Our media was informed of shooting incident in Saddlers village above the high school area. Sometime after 1am this morning persons in the Saddlers area were shocked upon hearing of the deatht.

LAW ENFORCEMENT OPERATIONS YIELD RECOVERY OF NARCOTICS & AMMUNITION


On June 4th, 2024, the officers of the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) executed a search of an abandoned building in Dorset Village, St. Kitts. The search resulted in the recovery of a plastic bag containing what was suspected to be seven (7) grams of cocaine. The suspected narcotics were subsequently taken into police custody. To date, no one has been found responsible for the suspected contraband find.

CHAD SEATON SENTENCED FOR MALICIOUS DAMAGE


Chad Seaton of Trinity, St. Kitts, has been sentenced to serve six (6) months at His Majesty’s Prison on two (2) charges of Malicious Damage. The sentence was handed down on June 3rd, 2024, by Her Honour Yasmine Clarke at the District ‘A’ Magistrate Court in Basseterre. The sentence will run concurrently for both charges.
